More Ryedale Book Festival fun!

This from the organisers:

"John Hegley is coming to the Festival this year for a fabulous, fun day of poetry. He will run a poetry workshop in the morning and will be joined by three other poets: Andy Seed (Winner of the Blue Peter Award for Best Book with Facts), Anneliese Emmans-Dean and Steve Nash.

In the afternoon, we’ll hold the P Factor Grand Final with the four poets, acting as judges. The winning team receive a trophy and will also have a chance to perform their poem during the Festival on Saturday 10th October as part of Andy Seed’s show.  The P Factor is an inter-school ‘X-Factor’ style competition. Pupils from Years 3 and/or 4 from each school will pick a poem and perform it as part of the Grand Final P Factor in the afternoon.

For the first time this year, we are also planning on setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of children to recite Baa Baa Black Sheep."
